Nossa Horta is a community in Fundão, Portugal, that connects people who grow food, from established farmers to people who only grow for home, with neighbours nearby. To sell, give away or swap local produce, so that food does not go to waste.
How it works
- Talk to Pati on WhatsApp. Pati is our artificial intelligence assistant (she always says she is an AI). With her you can offer what you have, ask for what you need, reserve, and agree to pick up at a meeting point.
- Or use the app and the map. See on the map what is near you.
- Daily summary. Every day Pati looks at what was published in your area and prepares a summary for you. You can pause or stop whenever you like.
- It is free during the pilot.
Who we are
We are Francisco and Patrícia, two young people from Fundão. Nossa Horta is a pilot project and is not a company yet.
